Motivations.

How to avoid conversations with crazy old men on...
1. Avoid Eye Contact. This is most important
2. Headphones. Even when the battery on your iPod dies and you can hear the couple behind you making out, pretend to be listening to something. As an added touch I like to bop along to the imaginary beat.
3. Arm yourself with knitting needles, and create spastic patterned jumpers. Put on said jumper.

How to get a cheap flat in the centre city.
Nearly every day I have a conversation with someone about flat hunting. It’s tough, and apparently there is a housing shortage. Landlords are only willing to commit to six month leases and so constantly people are hunting for that perfect pad with a bedroom that isn’t the size of a shoe box, maybe a little patch of grass, oh and it must be within commuting distance. I got run over. BY A VAN. (True story)

The weather is crazy.
It’s like pea soup and I am a giant spoon, running round the city, mixing this shit up.

I was walking home this afternoon, and as usual I was standing waiting to cross the road (Don’t even get me started on this… After my accident I will stand and wait at all corners until the green man flashes even though I can see for miles in either direction and its clear) and this old man rocks up and stands beside me.
